Hiking to Cub Lake was the highlight. It was a beautiful day, with just a little sprinkling of rain.

Fall color and wildlife...favorite site to see! Turkeys were hiding in the brush from the upcoming holiday. Elk bugling, deer munching, squirrels scampering, and ducks doing headstands in Cub Lake were the highlights of our approximately 5 miles. Yellow, orange and red on a background of green with blue above....perfect palette for an October hike!

I would like to say thank you to Wheat Ridge for having such a wonderful trip. We started our day from Union Station with a chat. After crossing lush green roadways we reached to a bakery and a restaurant. We saw Elks sitting around the ground and hear their lovely voices. Our guides knowledge in this area is awesome. He introduced us to the tree fragrance which we didn't forget in any of the coming years. At last we saw Cub Lake trail which is the most beautiful part of the park. If you see my uploaded photos it will speak for themselves.
