This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

Had a great day hiking in the Rockies with our tour guide Kyle. Our group was small, only 8. I decided on this option instead of the van with photo opportunities option, because I wanted to get out and work a little, and breathe in all that mountain fresh air. Kyle was great. He had a positive attitude, easy going, and super friendly. The hike was not easy but not impossible. I have short legs and am a slow hiker but I was fine. I just paced myself. Definitely opt for hiking the Rockies if you can. Make sure you bring good hiking shoes as it makes the whole experience much easier. :)

I had some free time during my conference and wanted to see the rocky mountains but i didnt want to go alone and i didnt know where to go. Luckily this tour was here. It was a full day of being outdoors. It was a small group with a great guide- Win! We hiked to cub like and were able to see a lot of wildlife. We saw elk (and heard the bull whistle) and even a black bear. Win was very knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife in it (plants and animals), he even sent us pictures after our hike which he took with a high powered camera. I learned a lot and experienced some amazing sites. I highly recommend especially if you have limited time in the area.
