This was my first, but not the last, I hope, hiking trip to the Rocky Mountains. Our guide RyanD was an inexhaustible source of information about history, flora, fauna, geology, the local villages, ..., and was super helpful and friendly. We were a group of four people and hiked some 6.5 miles with mild ascents and descents, not really strenuous, but you had to watch your step in the wet snow. We saw some breathtaking scenery, many bird species, deer and elk. It was a hike I won't forget!

I specifically chose this tour because the description mentioned some hiking. And that is exactly what I got. But what really made the tour great was the tour guide, Kyle (@Kyleharris996). He kindly waited for me after I accidently joined another tour and had to get an Uber back to the flag pole. Once on the road Kyle had lots of interesting history and stories to keep us entertained when we got stuck in traffic. When we got to the hiking path Kyle properly set expectations that would be building a bit of a sweat. The destination at a lake was beautiful. On the way back Kyle provided a number places we could eat and explore which I visited with a couple of people I met in the tour. Overall it was great experience. Great view, good exercise, and made some new friends.Ā

Went on a Sunday - hikes are available every day of the week. Our guide Ryan D was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife! Also had some great suggestions for where to eat after. The tour operator covers the admission cost to the park and also covers the cost of extra equipment you might need, e.g. shoe spikes, snowshoes. We went up to Emerald Lake which was a beautiful hike, saw some local wildlife. Take the opportunity to visit while you're here!
