My husband and I were first time hikers visiting CO for the first time. Our tour group was small (only 2 other guests) and our guide Ryan was the BEST!! He was super friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the geography, plants, and wildlife on our tour. It was so nice to have him drive us from Boulder, as we got to see and learn about a few different areas on the way to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. We stopped in Estes Park to get some spikes for our shoes, since it was a little icy. We were so grateful we had them! The hike was amazingly beautiful, and Ryan was very conscious of us all needing time to adjust to the altitude, and allowed us plenty of rest breaks with beautiful views on our way up to Gem Lake. We sat on the rocks above the lake and enjoyed a bag lunch (sandwiches and chips were provided) before starting our hike back down the trail. After our hike, Ryan drove us through a different part of the Park, where we got to see some more elk and deer. Overall, we highly recommend this tour!!

A great day out in the Rocky Mountain National park. The guide Win was fantastic, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A long drive to get there and back but the hike to Cub Lake was great. I would definitely recommend if in the area for a few days

Hi GregH2037ā€” We'd crawl through 20 miles of mud in a hail storm if that's what it took to get to Cub Lake. We're glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for leaving a review!
