Our guide Austin was genuinely passionate, friendly and knowledgeable. He was good humoured, had perfect snippets of information to share and led the hike at a great pace that matched what I had hoped. As a solo traveller I immediately felt relaxed and raring to go. The mountains did not disappoint and my heart was happy after the day out. If you are looking for a day out in nature I would recommend the Aspire day hike. And thank you to Austin for humouring me with my charity teddy photo request!

Prior to visiting Denver for a few days I did quite a bit of research on group hiking options and ended up choosing this one! I am so glad I chose Aspire for many reasons: 1. Mel was a wonderful tour guide and host. She knew a great deal about the history of Denver, the Rocky Mountains and nature in general. I learned a lot on this trip and really enjoyed that added bonus! Mel was also very down to earth, she made everyone feel so comfortable. 2. Following the directions on the Aspire website about what to bring, where to meet and what to expect made the whole trip easy to navigate as a solo traveler. 3. There are several options for the hike itself and the group members were able to share what they wanted to get out of it and the guide was able to choose one that fit best for everyone. 4. I was worried about not having the right gear, specifically the right hiking shoes. Purchasing hiking shoes/boots is not cheap and Iā€™m not an experienced hiker. I called Aspire ahead of time and they mentioned that hiking shoes or sneakers with good tread would be fine. I ended up wearing sneakers and it was just fine. But if there were snow on the mountains and I didnā€™t have the proper boots, the guide could stop at Estes Park Mountain Shop where hikers can rent boots for a very reasonable price. I canā€™t recommend Aspire enough, they have optimized this experience to make participants feel comfortable and excited about the experience, ensuring that you just focus on enjoying the day. I look forward to participating in other Aspire tours next time I return to Denver!

Mel was just the best, such a passionate person, fun to be around and knowledgeable. Our group lucked out getting to hike the day after the first snow, but still in the sunshine and 50 plus degree weather, just absolutely incredible day! The hike was a great workout, but manageable. The photos I got were out of this world and going to the bathroom in a little toilet on the top of a mountain vista was a bonus! Great tour, well run, safe, and fun!

Hi KeliandBrianā€” There's something magical about the first big snow of the year. That's amazing that the timing of your trip worked out so well! We know Mel enjoyed it just as much as you did. Thanks for leaving a review! Next time you're in Colorado we would love to host you again! ā€”Brendon
