What To Expect

Bryce Canyon National Park
This is a group experience that offers at least 3 miles (up to 5 miles)* of hiking, from easy to moderate terrain, accompanied by must-see viewpoints through various sections of Bryce. After introductions, we'll board one of our vehicles and prepare for a unique and visually stunning experience that borders on magical. Our guides are locals, know every inch of the area, and are thrilled to share their knowledge and expertise with all those who venture to Bryce Canyon. So allow us to lead you through hoodoo-filled slot canyons and across pink crested amphitheaters, while learning about different layers of strata as we trek through over 50 million years of geologic wonder. Interact with and see trees in a whole new way, find out which Native Americans called this area their home, and discover other interesting things; like how Bryce Canyon gets its name, and what a "Hoodoo" really is. *Trails typically hiked are Mossy Cave, Queens Garden and Navajo Loop, conditions permitting.

I hate to leave a bad review of something we didnā€™t even get to do. The day we scheduled this experience it was pouring down rain and thunderstorms were predicted for the entire morning. We checked in with Bryce Canyon Scenic Tours. The operator agreed to cancel the excursion due to the threatening weather conditions but explained the refund would have to come from TripAdvisor / Viator. You cannot speak with anyone at Trip Advisor, everything has to be done on line. I filled out the form for a refund and was told I would get zero back as it was less than 24 hours before the trip. If Trip Advisor corrects this situation, I will take down this review. Otherwise, beware of losing your money if weather is bad. šŸ˜ž

Hey Judy, and thanks for leaving a review- Unfortunately, if Tripadvisor was unwilling to offer a refund, there's nothing we can do. The tour you were booked for was indeed cancled due to poor weather, however I'd recommend calling their customer service line at (781) 800-5000 to explain that you've yet to recieve a refund, and they should be able to help you out. Up to this point and over the last 6 years we've never had an issue with Trip Advisor issuing a refund due to poor weather. Hope this helps!

We wanted to learn as much as possible in three hours of guided hiking. These are local people who can explain all the local lore and history. Mabry led us an Devils Loop and to Inspiration Point while giving a thorough and enthusiastic narrative about geology, flora and fauna. The three hours hiking with him set us up to enjoy and understand what we were going to see on our own hikes in the park.
