What To Expect
1
Hilo Farmers Market
Visit Hilo Bay and the Farmers Market. Shop delicious local fruit, souvenirs, and orchids. We take you to a fun surf shop that also serves amazing shave ice. Shave Ice or Ice Cream is included.
2
Rainbow Falls
Explore Rainbow Falls at the top of Hilo. These falls are most known for the beautiful anuenue (rainbow) that is created by the mist from the waterfalls.
3
Boiling Pots
Visit the spot where Maui fought Kuna to protect his mother, Hina. The result? The incredible Boiling Pots of Hilo! Afterward, there is a short drive above the area for a different angle.
4
Kaumana Caves Park
As far as Lava Tubes go Kaumana Caves are relatively young. Explore these caves and unique vegetation that grow within them. You must be able to climb a metal ladder. We can also take this out if you would like.
5
Wailoa River State Recreation Area
Enjoy a hot plate lunch at one of the beautiful state parks in Hilo. These ponds were created for the King. Today they are still stocked with fish. Walk over some of the arched bridges and to the King Kamehameha statue. Enjoy this relaxed Hawaiian atmosphere with a hot plate lunch. Instead of spending time in a restaurant we will deliver your lunch to the park.
6
Coconut Island
Visit the Island of Healing and learn about the Hawaiian Superman. The view is incredible.
7
Liliuokalani Gardens
This park was a work of love from Queen Liliuokalani and Hilo Japanese Women’s Friendship Association. Enjoy the Japanese style gardens. It was also a sight for fish ponds back in the early Hawaiian days. These ponds are also still here. So walk the bridges and between banyan trees. It is a peaceful experience.
