Did not explain wildlife and moved too fast. Guide never slows down. Wanted more information on wildlife

This was our third time kayaking and our second at HHI. First, let me say their kayaks are very comfortable- padded seat, supportive back, and molded cupped areas to rest your feet against. We went at 9am. As it worked out no one else had booked at this time, so we had a private tour. We all loved their method of getting you in the water. The kayak sits on a floating dock. You get into the kayak and your guide gently slides your kayak into the water. The process is reversed to get you out. We caught one glimpse of dolphins while walking from the car to check-in. Unfortunately, we did not see them during our time on the water. We did have a pelican pose for us. We saw plenty of cranes and egrets. It was a calm peaceful trip. Our guide was not very talkative, and my husband and I wished he would have shared more about the area. In fairness to our guide, 2 of our teenagers were trying to stay in front of each other so they kept pushing the guide to row so that he could stay in front of them. My husband and I finally forced them to separate and stay between us. It did not seem to us that there was as much to see as in Calibouge Sound. It was still a peaceful morning on the water.

Beautiful evening sunset kayak tour with a very knowledgeable guide, John. My family and I had a great evening and it was something we have never done before. We saw dolphins and learned a lot about the area that we wouldn’t have learned had we not done the tour. Would highly recommend!
