We had an amazing experience on the Dolphin cruise. We were greeted before we got on by a friendly photographer and it only got better from there. We were traveling with a wide range of ages from my youngest (almost 2) to my dad (91) with strollers and walkers. They were very accommodating and helpful. It was threatening to rain with overcast skies and I was glad to see that there was plenty of covering, although it is an open air boat. I just expected to go out into the water, possibly see a dolphin or not and just enjoy the ride. However, they narrated the whole ride and share information about South Carolina, the Sea Islands, history with some of the house and lighthouses, other places in the area, the beaches of Hilton Head and plenty more about the marine animals-specifically dolphins. We saw SO many dolphins. Some super close and others further out. I was concerned that my parents, who didn't move on the boat and were seated on the side, may not get to see anything. They also got a great view of the dolphins! We enjoyed the ride, narration, staff and the views of the dolphins so up close. As a travel agent, I will definitely recommend this cruise to clients traveling to HHI.

We chose the late afternoon Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise this past week and saw multiple dolphins. The captain narrated as we cruised, and we learned a lot about the dolphins in addition to observing a pod. My family would recommend this cruise to other families and parties interested in dolphins. Of course we needed refreshments after watching the dolphin activity and there is a snack bar (and restrooms) on board. If you are on the fence about a cruise, I'll just say that we really enjoyed our cruise and learned a bit about the dolphins and surrounding area as well. Try Vagabond Cruises.

We saw the backs of a handful of dolphins. No comparison to a cruise in florida where the dolphins were jumping out of the water, following a swift boat, and putting on a show for the crowd. This captain was a slow operator and talker and could not have been any more boring. I’d suggest a more professional narrator be hired to inform and entertain the crowd. I wish I had read these reviews before booking. Never again.
