The Vagabond Cruise website vagabondcruise.com allowed us to book the Vagabond - Sunset Dolphin Cruise through the booking website fareharbor.com, ok great, so we thought. We spent the $6 to get into Sea Pines to hang out for the afternoon. It poured down rain but let up just in time for us to wait in line, get our picture taken, show our tickets only to find out that someone allowed this Sunset Dolphin Cruise on the Vagabond Boat to be overbooked and that we were being sent to a much smaller, 30 passenger max, shrimping vessel called the “overflow boat” or proper name Tammy Jane, not great at all. Keep in mind, to have a “overflow boat” ready and waiting may mean that this happens “quite often” as one may say. So....we were left with a terrible decision to make, either get on the Tammy Jane or get a refund. Like I said before, the Tammy Jane is a shrimping vessel. We left the dock and request a refund, horrible. We really were looking forward to this cruise all afternoon. On a brighter note, we got a “You’ve been refunded” email and a confirmation from the ticket booth attendants that overbooking happens all the time, disaster. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Tried to go on a sunset dolphin tour. Bought tickets online to go on the Vagabond boat. Stood in line for 20 minutes only to find out the boat was overbooked and we had to get on a smaller boat with 30 other people. Our tickets did not specify this smaller boat. Wasted our time coming down here for absolutely no reason. Watch out how they book you online because they said this happens all the time. I’d give 0 stars if possible. Total waste of an afternoon.

we had a better Dauphin cruise with Captain Mark's on another part of the island. This was not really a cruise for it just stayed near Harbor Town and went upl and down a small section of shore line and a little ways out in the harbor. We did see Dauphins but were a little disappointed in the so called cruise, The do have other types of crusies. If you are not staying in Sea Pines you have to pay $6.00 to get to Harbor town. The drive to the end of the island is very pretty with beautiful home to see. Harbor Town is nice for a days outing.
