Visited on Sept. 12. One of the best adventures I've had! I'd like to have heard more from the captain, but we did get to hear a little about the area and shrimping laws and techniques from the woman who was also assisting. It was difficult to hear her over the sounds of the boat sometimes, but she readily answered questions. When the catch was hauled in, we had a lot of fun exploring the variety of sea creatures. I've never seen some of these creatures, much less been able to handle them! We had a great time learning about them and watching the aerial acrobatics of the gulls as we threw anything not a shrimp back. As much as we tried to trick the gulls in order to return still living creatures to the water safely, the gulls got the best of the situation in the end. This tour was relaxing with the ride out and back, breathtaking with the scenery, fascinating with the experience of the marine life, and disgusting with deheading the shrimp. But, man up and give deheading a try. You get to take some of the shrimp home, so the nastiness is worth it in the end. Absolutely recommend this experience. Be sure to tip well. It's a blast. Another suggestion: talk to the other people on the boat. It makes everybody's trip more fun. Some people just sat there, even pulling their phones out to look at, not even to take pictures. Betcha they're the ones giving poorer reviews. Come on, people. Enjoy the experience. Share the fun. Savor the time.

My 12 year old and I had a fantastic time! Dolphins were all around us, we pulled up some fish and squid along with the shrimp that definitely entertained my son, and the shrimp made for a delicious dinner. I would definitely recommend. I had read some other reviews of people not enjoying it and I think you have to know what is happening going in. This is not an eco tour. For the first half of the trip, we just sat around and talked and enjoyed the scenery. This was perfect for us, but don't go in thinking that you will be entertained and educated the whole trip. After that, the excitement level went up a lot. The dolphins started following us. They were with us for around 45 minutes! Then we brought up the net and this was fantastic! At the end, my 12 year old rated it 10 shrimp out of 10 shrimp but I would not take younger children that cannot just enjoy being on the water.

I wish I could give them 10 stars but alas we can only click 5. I went with my sister and my nieces who are 3 and 18. The experience was amazing from seeing all the different types of animal life to the ecosystems. Truly awesome.
