We took this cruise on our second day on Hilton Head and are really glad we did. The narration was very clear: casual yet well-informed and clearly from a knowledgeable person. The weather was absolutely perfect and the air was so free of haze that we could see all the way to a bridge to Savannah. We saw many dolphins on all sides of us - usually in the form of a fin or back emerging from the water, but my husband did get a few shots that included the top of the head. They were often in pairs, which we learned meant that they were either two females or a male and a female. Drinks and snacks were offered in the gallery; prices were reasonable ($6 for an airline-size bottle of wine for instance). The crew was friendly and so were the other passengers. It was interesting to hear the narratorā€™s comments on Dafuskie Island, which can only be reached by boat and where, apart from one resort community, people seem to live very simply. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone, especially on a beautiful day such as we had.

Was amazed at the way the. Oyster shells form a ā€œborderā€ for the marsh. Mother Nature does it again!
