So beautiful to see the island by water. The staff was friendly. Definitely a must even when it is cold!

seeing all the dolphins, while we cruised the open waters of the Calibogue Sound. This tour is narrated, and we were shown Daufuski Island and all the beautiful homes on the shore. this was a 1.5 hour tour, and it was just delightful to be out on the water. Beverages are sold on the boat. This is must do if you are visiting Harbor Town. We did the dolphin/sunset cruise on Wednesday 11/10/21 The tour started at 4pm, we got to the dock at 3:15 this way we had our choice of seats on the boat.

The tour lived up to expectations, in so far as we did see some dolphins. However, the cruise tour guide was very boring, droning on and on about inconsequential things: such as, the different species of plants in the various marshes. He has to realize that not every moment on the cruise needs to be filled with his talking. The lovely scenery and the prospect of dolphin sightings often times were enough. To be fair, he WAS knowledgeable, but he doesn't have to talk ALL of the time.
