Vagabond offers a specialty sunset dolphin fireworks cruise on Tuesday nights in the summer. Five years ago (the last time we went before tonight) it was fantastic: the captain took us to three different places to see dolphins before taking us to up close fireworks from Shelter Cove. Tonight was a major disappointment. We went past two dolphins on the way out of Harbourtown. If the people midship and aft blinked they never saw them. Then we proceeded at a snailā€™s pace to a spot pretty far from the fireworks while the captain played reggae music on Pandora with commercials. The music continued through the fireworks and all the way back to Harbourtown. Although I saw a dolphin, a pretty sunset, and fireworks, the experience was seriously underwhelming. To top it off, by the time we returned to Harbourtown, the trolley had stopped running for the night. : (

I do wish I would have known ahead of time I needed $9 in cash to get through the gate. I almost missed my boat! However, once on the boat the excursion was great!
