What To Expect

Our high-speed cruise allows you four hours in Savannah to sight-see, shop, take a trolley tour and find a restaurant for lunch. The Spirit offers an air-conditioned lower cabin, and an open-aired upper deck with a canopy for shade. Enjoy a drink from the Spirit's full bar, and take advantage of discounted trolley tickets available for purchase throughout the trip. The views were nice, as was the narration explaining all the sights. Additionally the staff was very nice.

Very relaxing, w/ a beautiful scenic atmosphere. Snacks & drinks on board, (very good Bloody Marys) A lot of dolphins that we were able too see during our approximately 1 - 1/2 hr.cruise going to, & 1 - 1/2 hr. Cruise back from Savannah. You have approximately 4 hours to adventure out into the streets of Savannah whether by foot and/or trolley. River Street has a lot to offer when shopping and/or eating, you can spend your entire 4 hours on that street alone, & still not get to all that it has to offer. We have done this cruise several times over the past years, & find that it is the best way to go & visit Savannah; unless you are wanting to make a complete day of it. No hassle w/ driving to & from; or finding parking; just sit back and relax and enjoy. Gave it a 4 out 5 due to just a couple of minor issues that Vagabond Cruises could improve on, but nothing major. Well worth experiencing for sure! FYI; Highly suggest if eating while on River Street must try Fiddlers (seafood awesome) do not let the appearance of the establishment stop you from trying some of the best drinks & seafood in Savannah.
