I had a day on my own in Tucson and thought this bike tour would be a great way to enjoy the beautiful January weather while getting some physical activity. It did not disappoint! I have been visiting a friend in Tucson for a few years, and this tour introduced me to many new sites and attractions! I especially loved the mural behind Borderlands Brewery, the historic adobe row houses, the oldest synagogue in the Southwest, and the tree ring exhibit at the University of Arizona. And of course the surprise fruit empanada fresh from a local bakery! The bikes were comfortable and well maintained. The provided handlebar bag was a nice touch, so that we could carry essentials like cell phones, wallets, and sunscreen. I'm lucky that I was able to join a noon tour at the last minute without advanced reservations, but definitely recommend reservations in advance since the tours require a minimum of two people to run
