We rode through several neighborhoods near downtown Tucson as well as downtown Tucson. Jimmy (owner and guide) transmitted lots of information about the devolopment of Tucson over time. He was engaging and witty. He even bought us some empanadas when we stopped at a market for a break. My wife and I provided our own bikes and helmets wich saved us $10.00 per person. We also took a short ride on "The Loop" a bike path that encircles Tucson. The tour covers almost nine miles and lasts about teo and one-half hours.

Great fun. Jimmy was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable about the the history of Tucson. Went through a lot of historic neighborhoods throughout town. It was a great way for a Tucson newbie to get to know the area. There are a lot of places I'll go back to visit. A must do tour.

Our family of four (me, husband, two kids in college) have been on a number of bike tours over the years -- it's a nice way to see a city and spend some time together. Everyone loved this tour -- lots of fun to ride through different Tucson neighborhoods and get off the beaten path a bit. As others have said, Jimmy is a wonderful guide -- personable and knowledgeable about the city, its history, and the sights. I also appreciated his attention to safety. The bicycles are well-maintained, helmets were provided, and he took care to alert us to potential hazards. All this and empanadas, too! During the ride, we stopped at a local bakery and Jimmy treated us all to a yummy snack. In addition, Tucson Bike Tours is a well-run business. I had to change our reservation in advance of our tour and received a prompt email response and refund. We also received clear directions and information prior to our tour -- kudos for these customer-oriented communication practices. I highly recommend this company and the historic tour -- you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for the review and mentioning some of the communication practices . . . I think that is a first in a review!
