Kate was an excellent guide with tons of knowledge of Memphis and it's history. She answered all our questions and threw in tidbits here and there to make the 2 hrs very interesting.

Did not do tour - heavy rain & thunderstorms was forecast. No message in advance as to possible weather cancellation. Guide showed up at time of tour - rain pouring down - asked US what we wanted to do! We said not to do tour & receive a refund. Guide contacted his manager and said ok.

Our policy has always been to run our tours rain or shine, barring truly dangerous conditions (none of which were forecast here). And in fact, though it was raining at the start of your tour, it did clear up pretty quickly; a not-infrequent occurrence in Memphis. That said, even though weā€™re prepared to walk in the rain, we realize some of our guests might not wish to do so, which is why our guide asked if youā€™d like to begin, or wait it out a little, or simply cancel for a refund. You chose cancel for a refund, which we happily and immediately gave. I apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding on our rain policy. I do hope you consider giving us another chance on a sunnier day!
