Tybee Island

Get ready for some fun and learning! Our historian and guide will begin with exploration of the North beach and Savannah river as it was used by the indigenous of the Island 600 years ago. The tour offers stories and lore to recall the charms and whimsy of the island as she passed through indigenous, pirates, early English settlers, and now into modern days. The often overlooked North End Tybee holds a rich history about the settlers as well as military with the historical value and tales of Fort Screven. Jag and Lars were phenomenal. She had an astronomical amount of knowledge and was so very kind. The teacher came out in her and we loved every minute of it. Lars gave another touch to the ride, humor and added knowledge. This was whole hearted, fun and a great lesson of the island. I teared up leaving them cuz they were so good. We are from Michigan, hadn't been here before and this was a true highlight of our week here for Christmas. Take this tour worth the time and money. Traci

It was a bit chilly on the tour so make sure you are dressed for it. if you forget, Jack our tour guide provides blankets on the bus and a coffee holder for your drinks. Highly recommend this tour of Tybee island!

We had an amazing time on the historical tour. Jack, the guide, was one of the most informative and fun guides that we have had on the many, many city tours we have taken. Lots of historical and fun facts. Just the right depth of info with a few laughs along the way. 100% recommend this tour to anyone enjoying Tybee Island!
