I have taken similar tours all over the world. This tour was outstanding! Our guide was knowledgeable, articulate, entertaining, and friendly…absolutely one of the best tour guides I have had. From this tour, my granddaughter has fallen in love with Richmond and looks forward to being a grad student at VCU this fall.

Even though I've lived in Richmond for a few years, the tour went to places I haven't seen before and I learned more about the history of the city than I knew. I took the tour with people who were new to Richmond and they also enjoyed the tour.

A little bumpy, but that's richmond's roads. The tour guide was very informative about richmond. Suggestions, don't set in the back or the bus. Exhaust fumes and heat of the engine, plus bumpy. Really enjoyed seeing the historical sites. Highly recommend to do this on your first day kind of give you an idea of what you might want to go look for as far as Museum tours and other areas to walk through. The walking bridge across the water from a higher Vantage looks really cool. It's a must do if you come to Richmond.
