What a great way to learn about the women who helped to shape not only Charleston but also many things in America. What a great tour. We learned about the history and architecture of the city as well. Great way to spend an afternoon.

This tour was a total pleasure. It's not always easy to listen to someone talk for two hours, but Jonathan really brought his stories to life with detail, humor, and palpable passion for his subject matter. He even kept the interest of our 14-year-old party member! When someone loves what they do it shines through, and that's the case with Jonathan. His tour was a highpoint of my visit to Charleston, and as a woman, I'm indebted to him for bringing the courage, compassion, and strength of these often unsung heroines to light! Thank you, Jonathan. (The tour was outdoors, and no equipment required, so the questions below don't really apply--I didn't see that it says optional till after I answered them!--but this site won't let me clear my answers...)
