I have been a tour guide for 4 years and this one of the best tours and experiences I’ve had in Charleston. John not only provides amazing and interesting “herstory” but it is delivered such a funny and engaging way that you feel you’re listening to an old friend. My friends were even saying afterwards “I never knew so much happened in 1803!” This should be the first thing everyone does in Charleston!

Outstanding guide, group, and topic. Immediately at ease with the plan and our guide. He clearly has a passion for Charleston, its history, charm, and beauty. He took every comment and question to heart and left us all with a greater appreciation for Charleston’s history, architecture, and beauty. We look forward to another tour on another trip. Fantastic tour! Will was our guide and very knowledgeable about the area including answers to our random questions. We did other tours while in Charleston and this was the best by a large margin.
