We arrived at the boat and greeted with a host of very friendly welcoming crew that got our group on effortlessly. Within 5 minutes of leaving the pier we were treat to a mother and baby humpback whales. Mother whale feeding the baby. Fantastic! Within 20 feet of the whales the dolphins give everyone a show. Wonderful! After the captain giving everyone to enjoy the whales and dolphins we head to our destination Kealekakua Bay. Along the way we are treated with Boyd the narrator , who’s family goes back 8 generations on the islands. Boyd gives information on Hawaiian history, legends and sights as we pass many of them. We arrive at the bay and dinner is served, Great food! Live music playing. Wow! As we leave the bay and start heading back to Kona we are met with an absolutely beautiful sunset and dozens of pilot whales. It almost seemed funny because everything and everyone on the crew was so perfect.

Aloha 248barryj, Thank you for joining us on the Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise! Our goal is to provide an excellent time for all of our guests so they can enjoy a relaxing cruise down the Kona coast. While we can guarantee great entertainment, excellent service, and amazing food, we do not guarantee dolphins or whales! What an amazing find! Whenever our marine friends are coming around, our Captains love being able to go around and show them off with time permitting. Boyd loves being able to extend his knowledge to our guests who visit the island. Our goal is to provide a fresh perspective of the Big Island of Hawai'i for you to take home! We hope to see you again next time! Mahalo, Derek Williams @ Body Glove Adventures

What a fun night! I signed up for this tour based on reviews I read. We are so glad we did. My fiance and I enjoyed the entire night... the boat ride, food, and the music. We are both teachers and the historic information shared was interesting for us and made us want to learn more about the Hawaiian culture. The crew was incredibly friendly and helpful. What a nice group of people! Their vibe made everyone feel good. There was a nice selection for the buffet. Walking on the boat was difficult at times, due to the choppy water. Everyone helped each other maintain their balance. Sweater/jacket was necessary, as it got cooler during the ride. Flat, secure fitting shoes were necessary too. We'd do this cruise again. Thank you!

Capt. Rick was great and the crew were so helpful. The seas were a bit bumpy but was still a nice cruise. We saw some whales as well as a great show from a group of dolphins. The food was very good and the entertainment and guide were great.

Aloha Canadaboy65, Thank you so much for joining us on the Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise! We cannot always guarantee how calm the seas are going to be with every adventure but our Captain and crew do everything in their power to mitigate any issues that arise! It seems like the bumpy ocean did little to sour your evening with us! We are glad you were still able to have a great time! We hope to see you again in the future to give you the five star experience you deserve! Mahalo, Derek Williams @ Body Glove Adventures
