Our guests are treated to a historical journey of the past 150 years of Leavenworth. We go into depth on the first peoples of the area, the Great Northern Railway, the logging industry, the transformation to a Bavarian Village, and the present time.

Being a bit older, we elected to do the walking tour of Leavenworth instead of the e-bikes. It doesn’t matter what establishment you walk in to in this wonderful town, they all love and adore our host Cocoa! (I hope I’m spelling your name right). We did too! A wealth of local knowledge, she filled us in on the history of Leavenworth and also recommendations on restaurants and wine sampling. We love this Bavarian themed town!

Take a trip back in time while you trek around the block. Natural sites, town monuments and the entire story of how and why this unique town came to be. The light-hearted and energetic guide made our introduction to Leavenworth informative and entertaining. Highly recommend and would probably do it again with a different set of friends.
