Bar none, this was the best value for the dollar for any tour I've ever taken. Our tour guide, Janet, led us on a journey through Beaufort history that included Robert Smalls and Harriet Tubman and sprinkled movie sites and trivia along our path. If you love Pat Conroy, this tour company and this guide is the one you want to select. I wish I had taken this tour when I first moved to the Sea Islands 12 months ago. Incredibly informational and I learned more about the area and what it has to offer permanent residents than I have been able to glean in the last 12 months. I am taking my parents next!

I knew Beaufort had an interesting history, but I didn't realize how many movies it's been the setting for. Now that I've taken this fun and fascinating tour, I'm more knowledgeable about both. Want to know the difference between a graveyard and a cemetery? Take this tour. Want to know what happened when a famous Hollywood actress called the local military base to complain about planes flying overhead? Take this tour. Want to learn things you never knew you never knew? Take this tour. It may well be the best hour you spend in Beaufort. Bill, the owner and our tour guide, entertained and educated us in the comfort of an air-conditioned van, and gave us a better appreciation for a town we'd already come to love.
