Overview

Your experience begins with a short video presentation in the main museum. After the video your guide will lead you on a short walking tour along the banks of the New River. You will visit the Pioneer House Museum, and the 1899 Replica Schoolhouse Museum, before returning to view the Seminole culture, Maritime history and pioneer exhibits in the main museum. All three museums are located on the picturesque banks of the New River right in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Amazing guided Tour by David Baum! Highly recommend. The Museum is very beautiful. I really enjoyed Our Tour. David answered all of Our questions and is so knowledgable. Ihighly recommend going to the Museum.

Great information about the history of Fort Lauderdale. Probably not great for kids but really great for history lovers.

Very interesting for history buffs to see how Fort Lauderdale was started and how it has grown and changed over the years. Nice little three building tour. They were very accommodating since it was midweek and slow. I did not want to wait for the 1 PM tour so they gave me my own private tour earlier. The front desk lady Val is very kind and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more highly
