We enjoyed the first 2 bars we went to which were like local hangouts. The last 2 stops were bars owned by Chart House - Tillman Fertitta so we weren't very impressed these stops were chosen.
The beers were local and good.
Some history given, but not as thorough of a presentation as we heard on other tours.
The tour guide should brush up on their history a little more - maybe give a history of the bar or the beers being presented and not so much on Hawaiian history. Would also recommend sticking to local bars that serve local bars - not chains owned by a gazillionaire.

Aloha,
Thank you so much for crawling with us. I'm sorry to say but you seem to be misinformed about the owners of the bars. None of the bars we visit are owned by anyone named Tillman Fertitta. I have personally met with all of the owners of the bars and can assure you every stop is locally owned. The bar you mention - Chart House - is owned by Joey Cabell - a local surf legend. You can read more about Joey's story directly on Chart House's website at https://charthousewaikiki.com/
Joey's story is actually a fun and fascinating one and I suggest you check it out.
As for the history portion of the tour, we pride ourselves on providing the great history of the Hawaiian islands and make Hawaiian history the focal point of our tours.
Thank you for crawling with us.
