There's no better place to experience the thrill of a sailing than in Miami. Our city is known for its protected bays, and warm tropical waters. This scenic Biscayne Bay sailing adventure is perfect for those that know how to sail, and for folks that want to learn. The bay offers a series of shallow flats which protects it from the rough seas. Price is per boat so make sure to bring your friends!

Lessons
We highly recommend adding a lesson upon arrival to help build your confidence and make sure you are starting on a strong base. Cost is per boat, you may choose to take a lessons or simply have a captain come drive the boat for you as you relax and enjoy the view!

We rented a hobie cat and it was really fun! I would say that it is a bit expensive and that it would be great if they had a seasonal pass to be able to go more often. However, it is worth it!

Thank you for the great feedback! Sailing is definitely a great experience to try out in the Miami Biscayne Bay. We are offering 10 hours passes and year passes for our most regular customers, just ask at check in next time and we will find what option works best for you!

I was a little nervous as I was was booking with friends, who had not sailed before. But Anouk was very so welcoming and relaxed. We had a wonderful and relaxing sail. A perfect experience.

DO NOT RESERVE ONLINE OR VIA PHONE!!! Do NOT put your credit card down until you arrive @ the place. Miami Watersports is a HUGE tourist trap! My husband and I reserved a hobie cat to go sailing with our 2 sons that were on leave from the US marine corps for the weekend. We hadn’t had time all-together in over 7 years! So this was a special event! We reserved online in hopes that MWS didn’t run out of catamarans. We got there & the guy told us that there was no wind - so it wouldn’t be good to rent the hobie cat. We appreciated that the guy didn’t just take our money. He told to go to another location (near the city of Miami) to get a full refund. We went to the other location. We did the paperwork and were told that we would get the refund in 2-3 days. It has been 2 weeks - & still NO REFUND. My husband called - the guy @ MWS told him that there were no refunds. My husband told him exactly what happened - all the guy repeated was: “no refunds! Completely disorganized, huge scam, & very pricey!!! If we knew that we would have received the money back - we would have opted to do something. Miami Watersports is a HUGE tourist trap! These people/company are banking on the fact that tourist will leave Miami thinking that they will get a refund - but they just take your money! I am a local - born & raised in Miami. I cannot believe that these people would act like this towards tourist which Miami desperately needs for it’s economy - especially with COVID-19 on the rise again! Taking advantage of tourist is disgusting & Miami Water Sports should be outed for this behavior. No wonder tourist go to the Keys or North Miami. Please Go some where else! Key Largo is a good option. I cannot stress this enough! My sons are back on base & 1 will be deployed soon. I will continue to communicate with MWS to see if they will honor what they told us that they would do!

As mentioned on our website at the moment of booking and on your confirmation email, reservations are final and non-refundable. In case of bad weather, we will reschedule any booking affected or issue a non-expiring credit for a future reservation. We exchanged with you and apologized for the unfortunate weather situation that impacted your plans. You accepted the non-expiring credit option and we will honor this at anytime you desire. We are opened everyday, from 10 to sunset, all year round.
