Narrated tours can go one of two ways - boring or fun and exciting. Old Savannah Tours has 14 stops and we were so lucky to get on Arthur’s bus as he narrated thru the first 13 stops. He is absolutely what made our trip worth it and I dare say is worth asking and waiting for if you have time. He knew our names, gave interesting facts (I will never forget there were 54 signatures on our Declaration of Independence), and had us laughing. A very special treat was when Forrest Gump boarded our trolley. Along the route a drunken sailor and Lafayette’s wife also boarded for a brief monologue. We got off at #13 and toured the River Walk. When it was time to complete our trip we unfortunately got another driver who was less than exciting. My 3 sisters and I commented how horrible it would have been if we had had that driver for the entire tour. ASK FOR ARHUR!!!

Whenever we go to a new city we like to find a bus or trolley tour. We find it a great way to get an overview of the city, see what we like and want to go back to.
