Most of the tour guides are friendly and informative.
However, there was one driver who made me and my boyfriend very uncomfortable. He was the first driver of the day and left a bad taste for the rest of our tour. Upon entering the trolly, he made the other passengers vote on whether "these mask wearers" could come aboard. And grumbled about our personal choice to wear masks.
Then he made a joke about me, a 20-something female, "flashing" him when I tried to show my sticker as I passed by like we were instructed to when buying tickets. He said something along the lines of "oh, no need to flash me young lady" and then laughed like I was exposing myself. His tour had a lot of current politics influenced talk, like not liking the board of education and taxes. He also said "look at this building" with no left or right or ahead of us language so we couldn't tell which building he was referring to when talking about the history.
Not sure of this man's name, but he was a larger man wearing a bright orange jack-o-lantern shirt on Oct. 3. It was not Ellis or Larry - they were great tour guides later in the day.
