Enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through one of Oahu’s hidden treasures—the Hawaiian countryside of Gunstock Ranch. You and your horse will travel through shady forest trails and trek across open pastures, spotting grazing cattle, soaring island birds, and maybe even a family of wild pigs.

The grand finale of the tour is the lookout over the stunning North Shore coastline and the quiet town of Laie, nestled on the edge of the crystal-clear ocean. It’s a great spot for photos and a moment of relaxation in one of the most beautiful places around. Plus, the whole ride will be intimate, with small group sizes, so you can experience an authentic paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) adventure.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior to the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo you will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders will be allowed to ride.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Awesome ride, beautiful scenery, fantastic trail guide! We took our 7-year-old granddaughter horseback riding for the first time ever. She was on cloud nine!! Our trail guide, McKenzie, was amazing and answered all the questions our very outgoing and talkative granddaughter asked her. We highly recommend Gunstock Ranch horse riding. We will definitely be back!!

We had a beautiful ride on the ranch. Our guide Kali took us along the paths up to a beautiful view point. The guides know the temperament of the horses well and choose the horse they think is best for the guests. This is key when you have 1st time riders or children. We really enjoyed the ride and look forward to another trip. Make sure to arrive early. They will give you a safety briefing, go over rules, and give you waivers to sign. Then they will set up the horses, get you mounted and line you up to head out.

This was an awesome ride. It was just the guide, my wife, and me on the tour. Kayla was our guide and she did an outstanding job. She was friendly and provided all sorts of informative information about the history of the Gun Stock Ranch. Provided interesting facts about the local flora and fauna. She did an excellent job teaching us how to ride the horses. The horses all very well trained and a someone who has never ridden a horse can do this tour.
