Enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through one of Oahu’s hidden treasures—the Hawaiian countryside of Gunstock Ranch. You and your horse will travel through shady forest trails and trek across open pastures, spotting grazing cattle, soaring island birds, and maybe even a family of wild pigs.

The grand finale of the tour is the lookout over the stunning North Shore coastline and the quiet town of Laie, nestled on the edge of the crystal-clear ocean. It’s a great spot for photos and a moment of relaxation in one of the most beautiful places around. Plus, the whole ride will be intimate, with small group sizes, so you can experience an authentic paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) adventure.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior to the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo you will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders will be allowed to ride.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Thank you Gunstock ranch for a great family horseback riding experience. Our guide was Ty and he was super friendly and skilled guiding us through a scenic and beautiful route through the rolling country of the ranch. The views were great, the weather was warm and the ranch is cool to explore on horseback. I went with my three daughters age 18, 16 and 11 and we all had a fantastic time. The horses were well behaved and easy going. You can tell when you first arrive that the horses are well cared for, not over ridden or abused. That's important, because I've done trail rides were the horses are not so well taken care of and by the time you saddle up and head out they are already tired and ornery. These horses were very responsive and friendly although they like to snack on the greenery along the way. Thank you again for a memorable and fun experience for me and my kids.

Gunstock Ranch is an AMAZING facility. Everyone there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the horses and the land. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

My family enjoyed a lovely ride over the holidays with guides Kali and AJ. They both did a great job making us feel comfortable, safe and entertained! They were friendly, talkative and fun. They chatted with us throughout the ride and pointed out various things. My 8 and 11 year old sons had a great time. The horses were well-behaved and responsive. We would definitely recommend taking a ride out at Gunstock!
