Enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through one of Oahu’s hidden treasures—the Hawaiian countryside of Gunstock Ranch. You and your horse will travel through shady forest trails and trek across open pastures, spotting grazing cattle, soaring island birds, and maybe even a family of wild pigs.

The grand finale of the tour is the lookout over the stunning North Shore coastline and the quiet town of Laie, nestled on the edge of the crystal-clear ocean. It’s a great spot for photos and a moment of relaxation in one of the most beautiful places around. Plus, the whole ride will be intimate, with small group sizes, so you can experience an authentic paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) adventure.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior to the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo you will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders will be allowed to ride.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was the first adventure on our weeklong vacation to Oahu. It was AMAZING! We are so happy that we chose Gunstock. It's definitely not tourist-y and the views were incredible. We learned a lot as the wranglers (GABY and HANNAH) really took the time to ensure we were having a good time. They shared a lot of information about the Island, the particular land we were riding on, and the history. They really seemed like they enjoyed their job and that says a lot. Thank you Gunstock!

the wranglers were nice, the horses were beautiful. you’re just kind of thrown to it and i was a bit nervous at first, but got the hang of it after a while. the ride back is the same . it would have been nice to see something different on the ride back. the pictures are money makers, i had to pay $65 for 10 pictures because the other pictures that were on my set had other people outside my group.
