Great experience and working with Bob was easy. We had a unique lodging situation and Bob went out of his way to help. The tour was great and I felt like we got our money's worth. Definitely recommend!

Could not have asked for a better guide than Mike. Being with him was easy, casual and felt like a friend of ours. Good conversation , and very knowledgeable about the area. Drives safe, as well. The horseback ride through Joshua Tree was an awesome experience. The views are incredible. Our trail guides were friendly. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend Mike and Desert Wonder tours. Thanks for making our trip memorable!

Grand Canyon Western Ranch : Our guide Bob was very kind. The horseback ride very pleasant and relaxing. The view of Spirit mountain was beautiful. Casey played nice cowboy songs and recounted the fascinating story behind the ranch. The « homemade » lunch on the other hand was disappointing. A very basic burger and industrial crisps, not even real French fries. Very ironic that Casey kept saying it was « real food » and not « fast food » right in our faces. Not worth 240$

Emma, we responded to this review on Google Business, so respond the same here: Thank you, Emma, for your review. We are a bit confused about your critique of your sandwich selection as Desert Wonder Tours isn't involved in either the menu or the preparation of lunches at any of our tour destinations, although we have never heard a complaint about the lunches. The sandwiches are freshly prepared in the Ranch's kitchen. Perhaps being from France affects your perception of food, as France certainly is known for gourmet foods that a Western cowboy ranch would not be expected to provide. The tour pricing includes pickup from one's destination from one of three (3) different cities, a guided hour horseback ride through the Joshua Tree forest, serenation and story-telling by a talented cowboy who has been with the ranch for decades, free bottled water, experienced and friendly Driver Guides, and a freshly prepared sandwich, chips, drink and cheesecake dessert. We are rather confused that you would praise our driver and the tour experience, location, etc., and then give us a 2-star review for a sandwich that didn't meet your expectations.
