North Shore Stables is the product of equine enthusiasm x community devotion.

Our mission is to provide access to equine activities, at an affordable price.

Learning about horsemanship, and building relationships with these majestic animals should be an opportunity that is accessible to all, not just those who can afford to take care of a horse on their own.

With over 15 acres of beachfront ranch, we provides an experience of scenic views unlike any other on the island. The authentic Hawaiian style hospitality and breath taking scenic views leaves every guest with a smile on their face and memories that will last a lifetime.

Children ages 6-9 years old may participate in this ride with an added fee of $50 per child (each child will be hand-walked by a staff member) - CALL TO SCHEDULE
CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS
PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED RESERVATION TIME.
Tours will leave promptly at scheduled reservation time. Early arrival is necessary to get fitted with helmets, and partake in safety demonstration before the ride.

Stumbled upon this stable. It is an awesome place for the family, parties, and group activities. They have a petting zoo, picnic tables, and horseback riding. The staff is friendly and courteous. We love this stable.

Friendly staff and overall very welcoming vibe and experience. My partner and I absolutely loved our ride. The staff took time explaining how to interact with the horses and chose horses perfect for us & were happy to take pictures of us as well. The ocean view was beautiful to ride along . 10/10 would respond !

This is a great excursion to do on the North Shore. Quick and easy to get to. Taking a bus is doable (I did from Waikiki). Bus stop is right by the stables. You can do this without it taking too much time out of your vacation. Its fun and quick (45 min) so you can still have plenty of time to explore the North Shore. The bus ride can be long depending on where you are coming from but just keep it in mind when planning it and just take in the gorgeous views on the ride. Also there are few highways so expect delays from traffic, accidents and slow farm equipment on the roads. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a new option, only open for 7 months when I went. A previous reviewer mentioned the the state of the property. For me it wasn't a big deal. There are other animals around to look at. I look forward to coming back to see how the property develops. A pretty view on a trail with an awesome horse named, Speedy. But he was great and apparently 4 yo which is rare for them to be calm at that age. Just what this first time rider wanted on her last day in Oahu. :)

Awww aloha Robin! Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. Yes, we are a fairly new facility and we are constantly changing and improving. There is something new to see every day! I really appreciate you taking the time out to write your experience taking the bus out to us, as this is something we didn't have very much knowledge of! We have developed the property a lot since you last visited, and I'm not sure if it was here when you were, but we have very nice bathrooms and a petting zoo in the front!
