So, the tour operator - gave us an extra experience of going to Ice Alaska as an included excursion - which was a nice surprise. She also prearranged for us to have a reservation at a local restaurant which again was likely smart given a Friday night might have wasted a lot of time waiting to be seated otherwise. Chena Hot Springs needs a lot of updating and repair. While the hot springs are hot - everything is terribly dated and used so pretty rough shape. Pool, hot tubs, walkways - locker rooms ... Unfortunately no northern lights too many clouds.

The hot springs were awesome. We saw the white northern lights. Our tour guide was very nice. Just a tip.. lockers take two quarters and bring water/drink for after and flip flops because floor was freezing.

This was an awesome trip . Our guide was great to the point we saw the northern lights twice in one night. Hot spring was nice but I was little worried about falling as not good lighting going onto springs
