Overview

Join us for a fun day of paddling and hiking on the beautiful Rio Grande through Big Bend National Park! The Rio Grande through Hot Springs Canyon makes for a fun and active way to see and learn about the region and make the most of your visit to Big Bend. Guests can expect professional guides, riverside lunch, a visit to the famous langford hot springs, and local interpretation and information.

Most trips are done in Canoes and Kayaks and you will have the ability to paddle your own boat while on this experience. While river levels are low most of the sections may be paddled, but all guests should expect to get out and pull over shoals from time to time.

We had a wonderful time canoeing the Rio Grande and enjoyed the day on the river and a soak in the Hot Springs too. Our superb guide Billy Miller really enhanced our paddle with his knowledge of the flora and history and culture of the area. He was helpful and attentive and we were so happy to out on the river in this beautiful area. Highly recommend! Not a challenging paddle, at least during this low river stage.
