The museum is wonderful: excellent artifacts in the areas of Prehistoric animals, past civilizations and geology.
There was some other areas of the museum that this ticket did not allow us entrance to so make sure that you understand the additional entrance fees and make your selection before going to the ticket counter. We went back to get another ticket for the Planetarium.
The transportation to the Museum district was very easy from downtown using the train, very affordable.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is an amazing place to visit. We took 2 grandchildren, aged 6 and 8. We spent several hours there. Using Viator was great! There were no delays and we surely did save money! But, be prepared to walk a little ways for parking. Due to parking being either expensive or a good ways to walk, we ate inside the museum. The only place we found was a McDonald's. You have to be prepared to wait in line a while and have to keep an eye out for a place to sit and eat. But, hey, it's only 1 meal. No biggie. Happy family memory made.
LOVED this place, the deal does save money. Be sure to pack a lunch so you can eat in the park area. The food is limited to McDonald's on the inside of the museum and a few places within a 15 minute walk.
