The Seawall

After touring central Houston with your knowledgeable guide, transfer to a comfortable bus that takes you on a 55-minute drive to reach Galveston, a historic town located on the Gulf of Mexico. During your time in Galveston, enjoy close to three hours on your own to explore. You can purchase lunch in the historic Galveston Strand district then stroll the shops and soak in the small town’s ambiance. Visit the Galveston Seawall, a 10-mile levee with breathtaking views of Galveston Bay. I Throughout the day, learn from the informative commentary provided by your guide while a professional driver handles the navigation. You get to relax as you see iconic sites and learn about the history of Houston, Galveston and Texas during a fascinating 6-hour tour (including travel time to and from attractions.) This day trip was perfect for my short trip and wanting to get a taste of Houston Galveston. The tour buses were clean and comfortable. They were to accommodate and assist with someone who is handicapped. On the day of the trip, Antonio, the owner and tour guide was challenged by a downtown parade in Houston and the beginning of a parade in Galveston. He handled it well and gave us the best tour he could under the circumstances. When we arrived at Galveston, we took the dolphin watching boat ride which was a lot of fun, seeing quite a few pods of dolphins, swimming right up to the boat for great photos opps. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, great tour and kudos to Antonio and his wife putting their all into their business. They were very sociable and accommodating.
