The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat
If you or someone in your group is in a wheelchair or has limited mobility, contact the tour operator to discuss accessibility

Buy the tickets on the Cruise website. They are cheaper than on this site. Just giving this advice ahead of time. I have not bought tickets yet, but plan to in May.

On our recent New England fall tour, we were taken to the Hudson River Cruise Co in Kingston NY for a Hudson River Sightseeing cruise. The cruise we went on was a regular sightseeing cruise, but they also offer dinner cruises, live music cruises and sunset cruises. It was raining out, so we chose to stay inside, where it was quite noisy, being seated by a bunch of people who’d come in from outside partway through (this of course is not the company’s fault). It was great seeing the sights from on the channel through Kingston and out into the Hudson River. We were able to see the Rondout Lighthouse, old ships that no longer sail, the beautiful colors of the trees, a commuter train on the land, bridges, etc. We enjoyed the narrative and took lots of pictures. I walked up to the open deck a few times for pictures, but returned inside because of the rain. There was a snack & drink bar, but since we’d just had our lunch before boarding we did not go there. I had taken my motion sickness medicine, but highly doubt that was needed, as the ride was smooth and at an easy pace. We had a nice experience on our trip.

Great leaf peeping trip at a very fair price. Nice boat. Had lunch beforehand and a lovely walk along the waterfront. I highly recommend this adventure.
