This is a 6 hour shuttled tour that includes tastings at three unique wineries of the region, paired with cheeses of the Hudson Valley, and a delicious picnic lunch with loring stories of the region. Depart with wine, farm stand goods, local treasures, and a new understanding of wine.

What To Expect

Hudson Valley

We'll take a scenic drive to our first destination; the oldest continuously operating winery in America. Experience wine cellars that were excavated by hand in the 18th century containing some of the oldest vintages. Hear stories old and new. You'll leave with a greater understanding of the wine making process and the lore of one of the oldest wine making regions in the U.S. This experience wouldn't be complete without a flight of wine to taste and savor.

A Hudson Valley wine tour to celebrate a friend’s landmark birthday was perfect! HVBL did an outstanding job coordinating the entire day from transport and an itinerary of wineries and tastings to a magazine photo worthy picnic lunch orchestrated by an on-site host. Our group of 12 were treated like special guests everywhere we went and we were wowed by the friendly, welcoming reception we received at each stop and the all the delicious wines we were able to taste. HVBL made planning this event easy and the day memorable.

This was an amazing tour. While I know you cannot predict the weather we had the most spectacular fall day. Meeting place was well organized. Our guide Eric was awesome. Our driver was the best. The wines we experienced we very different from winery to winery. We learned a great deal about the "science" of wine making from our second winery. Needless to say, bottles were purchased. The lunch that was provided before the 3rd winery was delicious. We left quite full and ready for the last winery. We met a great group of people and would highly recommend this tour and will probably do it again. 5 + stars!!

This was a 5-star experience from the minute we stepped off the train at Beacon station. Sean and Eric were waiting with granola outside the mini-coach bus which was a perfect and comfortable mode of transportation for the day. Eric is very knowledgeable of the area and the wineries we visited. The wineries were beautiful with great views. Our favorite was the first stop at Benmarl. Went spent about an hour at each stop and a visit to Saint Hubert’s Lodge after the second winery. The food was fantastic and the hosts were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. After the third stop, Sean and Eric were happy to bring the guests on to downtown Beacon if they wished. Overall, this was a perfect Hudson Valley day!
