Hurrah Pass Scenic 4x4 Tour in Moab

Overview

This scenic adventure explores the beautiful scenery of the wild-west along the mighty Colorado River and through historic Kane Creek. Our guides deliver a truly special tour with narration about geology, history, and the ancient civilizations of our area.

We will provide you with a 4x4 called a UTV where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a "You Drive Experience!" Our four seat machines are automatic and easy to navigate. This trail is designed for those who want to get out and enjoy the great scenery of Moab, Utah and considered easy, however if you are scared of heights, this tour may not be best suited for you.

On the Hurrah Pass trail you will have an up close experience of thousand year old Fremont and Ancestral Puebloan Petroglyphs with stops to take in the detail and history. Climb through the geologic time periods along the steep switchbacks to arrive at the grand finale of the Hurrah Pass Overlook, located near Canyonlands National Park.

This is a YOU drive experience on easy terrain - All drivers must be over 21 yrs. of age.
This trail is considered easy, mostly on a dirt road and part trail. However if you are scared of heights, this tour may not be well suited for you. As it does include some steep switchbacks and some canyon walls with cliffs on the side.
Our machines have four to 6 seats, so each family will have their own machine. We do not mix other parties in your machine.

Us girls loved the Hurrah Pass Scenic tour! It was absolutely beautiful views! The guide was friendly and patient with all of us. We were not hurried or rushed. The trip was scenic, slow paced, and awesomely fun!. We will definitely do this one again! Thanks to all of you! Jodi

5-29-2022 SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES The company should have inspected the 4x4's for safety "before" they send clients up into the mountains. My family was terrified when we were on top of huge cliffs on thin roads with no guard rails. And the steering completely went out. I had NO CONTROL over the 4 x 4 and when I tried to turn the steering wheel the vehicle just continued to only go straight. Things could have went very bad and went over the edge. You can not mess with peoples SAFETY. All the 4 x 4 should be inspected for SAFETY to be sure this never happens again to any family. The worst part is they did not even offer me a refund? They did nothing, I called & asked to speak with the owner and they said he was up on the mountain recovering a stranded broken 4 x 4. I know it was the one he had me driving my family on. The owner never did call me back nor offer an apology for what he had put my family thru. I would not recommend this tour, this is a serious matter of life & death

The entire experience was so much fun! We had a great time on the tour and taking in all the scenery. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we enjoyed the extra stops and learning the history and seeing the petroglyphs. The route wasn't super scary or difficult. It felt safe on the road. It did get a little dusty so plan to get a little dirty.
