You travel in our comfortable 6 passenger SUV and your guide, also the driver, will share what you see along the way as well as when you get there. Magnificent mountains, trails, and viewpoints await you. We stop for photos and breaks. Stop to buy your lunch on the way; great selection of sandwiches, salads, and more. Sometimes we see deer, marmot, and chipmunks!

What To Expect

Hurricane Ridge

A fantastic National Park, one of 3 in Washington. The drive up and back is as good as the view from the top. See the world from the top of the mountain ridges and look at Canada as well as glaciers. Stunning views.

We actually did two trips with Cheryl's Northwest Tours in August 2022 (Mt Rainier and Hurricane Ridge). We absolutely had great time with Dan and Cheryl. The weather was awesome and the views were heavenly! Cheryl gets to know you and your family and customizes the trip according to your interests and needs. She and her tour operators cover everything from history, botany, geology of the area to fun facts, while remaining flexible based on the specific circumstances of the day. Cheryl knows how to get to the best views as quickly as possible so that we can enjoy our trip. as a matter of fact, we just didn't want to leave Hurricane ridge or Mt. Rainier because it was nature at its best. The pictures on Cheryl's website are not photoshopped- the views are as gorgeous as they look like on the website. In addition, Cheryl is great at conversations-we loved our time with her. Highly recommend these two trips-we might go back again with Cheryl since there is so much to still explore!

We had an excellent experience visiting Hurricane Ridge and Marymere Falls in Olympic National Park. Cheryl made us feel at home right away and conversation flowed easily, turning the day into a great family outing. We learnt a lot about both Seattle and the parks. The SUV was clean and comfortable, and the snacks were great! Cheryl was also very mindful of our time constraints. We recommend her highly!

Everything was perfect!! Janet, our tour guide, contacted us the night before - always reassuring! She has an encyclopedic knowledge of Seattle, the Olympic peninsula and once we got to Hurricane Ridge - wow, it was late April and still snow on the ground and so cold , which didn’t lend itself to hiking - but the scenery was spectacular. And we cannot say enough about Janet! Hated to say gooodbye.
