For the most part, this was a great tour, so much fun, and loved the dogs. Tony and his dogs were fantastic. He explained the dogs and their different positions in the line. He said the dogs were his children, and they were very well taken care of. In the end, he gave us treats to give the dogs. David was out photographer, and he took a pile of pictures. He sent us a couple via text almost immediately, and then we received a link the following day to all of the pictures that he took. Their communication from beginning to end was excellent. The only complaint we had is that the ride lasted only about 10 minutes, and was about 2 miles long. They explained to us that due to the moose being very aggressive at this time, we could not go off road. We understood, and had no problem with this. But somehow, the ride needed to be longer as advertised.

Thank you for the GREAT Review. Due to safety issue we moved to another different trail as he explained. We are sorry that it happened. But our top priority was clients' safety and husky dogs' health. Have a blessed trip. Leah Alaska Journey Tours

First time dog sledding. It was so much fun and can't wait to do it again. The only complaint I have is that I wanted to stay on it forever. The dogs are so friendly. Definitely a must do.

Though we loved the dogs and with the number of pictures taken, we were very disappointed with Viator. They met to pick us up at the wrong hotel so we had to rush to another meeting place. We paid a higher price for pickup service and ended up having to drive out to the sledding location. The dogmusher, was friendly and loved his dogs well. Unfortunately, because of the rough winter and stress on the moose, we couldnā€™t sled on the trails. They took us on roads in the park and it wasnā€™t near a thirty minute ride. We talked to other people who did get to go on trails and saw moose on their tours so it was just our tour who didnā€™t.

Yes, We provide a Pick up and Drop off service. If someone does not stay at a hotel in Fairbanks Downtown, we used to meet at Pike's Waterfront Lodge or Walmart Parking Lot. It was a miscommunication. We never had this kind of miscommunication before. When a guide (Driver) asked you to follow her SUV because you got a rental car, you said, "Yes." As we mentioned on TripAdvisor and Viator, it is about 20 min to 30 min for dog sledding. (It changes due to dogs, snow, wild animals, and trail conditions.) The Husky Dogs were so strong and energized. That is why it took little bit short because they were running fast even though the trail length is the same the another one. Most clients love the speed and running so fast. We moved to another trail due to safety issues. Moose is supposed to be aggressive to protect her calf. Even dogs are trying to protect their musher and a musher cannot control dogs as well when moose is on the trail or near the mushing team. Sorry again. Leah Alaska Journey Tours
