It was everything we expected and more. Tony was informative and shared his love of his dogs and the beautiful countryside. The car drivers were friendly and the photographer took amazing pictures. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature at its best.

Hi, Thank you for the GREAT review on Viator. Yes, it is the beautiful mushing trail. We are so blessed to have an amazing mushing team and a photographer as well. Thank you again for mentioning how they were and how it was. Have a blessed day. Leah Alaska Journey Tours

I totally appreciate the team giving us the opportunity to experience dog sledding, the musher himself said it was going to be approximately half of what we would get on a normal event. At the end I considered tipping the musher but then thought he just got paid 2 full fares for half the trip, I considered 150.00 to be a good tip. But we were reminded in no short terms by our car driver we owed the musher a tip. I did give 10 dollars but find demanding a tip quite rude!

Hi, We are truly sorry that it happened. Our Musher did the Husky dogs sledding 4 miles (we have 5 miles on a normal event. It takes 25 to 30 minutes. when we get it for 5 miles. When we looked at your photos we took, it took about 22 Min. - It started at 11:59 am and finished at 12:21 pm, which meant it was about 4 miles.) even though we had additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, with localized amounts up to 15 inches. Linked are photos we took at the event: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhQBGswdDX5dhotGAaYe8XzSRYDzvA?e=f2dZSY (Photos linked to OneDrive) Linked are the following teams' photos: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhQBGswdDX5dhotFblrBFWw6bgmYcQ?e=PA8Zgj It was not half of what we would get on a normal event. The next clients said that it was 4 miles as the musher told them. As you know, we noticed around 11:00am in the morning if we would cancel the tour or not due to the WINTER STORM WARNING. Most tour companies canceled. It was the worst condition to get the tour. That's why our driver reminded you of how the musher was doing. IT WAS INCREDIBLE and THE GREAT JOB. He considered how clients would be disappointed if we would cancel it. He came out early to prepare the trail and inspected how it went as well. In addition, she did not force them to give tips. She did not say. "You need to give him tips," but "Please, can you give." Sorry again that it happened. Leah Alaska Journey Tours

We had an AH-MAZING trip to Alaska and dog mushing/sledding with AK Journey. It was definitely the best experience of the trip! David picked us up promptly and was our excellent photographer. He got both videos and photos that we will enlarge and frame and cherish forever. Tony was an excellent teacher/dog musher, and we gained a great respect and knowledge of the dogs and the contributions of dog sledding. Both men were courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of us and their dogs. We highly recommend these guides and this experience. It was the best!!!

Hi, Thank you for the GREAT review on TripAdvisor. We really appreciate that you would understand we needed to reschedule it for that day due to the cold temperature. We are so proud of having him as a musher, who loves his Husky Dogs. We are grateful that you love photos and video as well. Have a blessed day. Leah Alaska Journey Tours
