Hydrojet Dolphin Cruise

Overview

We leave our dock in the Hydrojet and cruise the Destin Harbor and then into the East Pass. We will then pick up speed and head into the Gulf of Mexico. Hydrojet then travels east down the beach always searching for marine life such as: dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, sting rays and manatees, ect. Once we find marine life we stop and let you take pictures and video. During days with choppy water we will do wave jumping.

PLEASE remember to TIP the crew, they work hard before, dearing and after your trip to make it very memorable.

We enjoyed this experience for the most part. We had trouble finding it at first and where to park. Clearer directions would have been appreciated. I tried calling but no one answered. The address listed was locked. We finally saw where to park and then found where the boat takes off by searching for the signs for the name of the company. The lady doing the tickets was very nice. The ride itself was fine however we did not enjoy the loud music that they had playing. Maybe they were trying to portray a party or fun atmosphere with the music but it was not music we enjoyed, it was too loud which made it even more unenjoyable and my son who has sensitivity issues, held his ears the whole time. If I had known loud music would be playing, I would not have booked this boat ride. The boat ride itself was driven very fast for a very short amount of time. I expected more. It would have been nice if they could just let us enjoy the sites and sounds of the water and dolphins and had more of a sightseeing feel to it rather than music playing.

I'm sorry if you did not enjoyed too much of your trip because of the music ,wish you had told the captain to turn the music down so that you would have had the better experience .thank you for riding with us.

It was fun! Jet ski part was fun, didn’t see many dolphins & when we did they didn’t get close at all. Also was hoping the co captain would offer to take photos like the sweet lady at the ticket offered but she didn’t do anything really. Music was great, views gorgeous but dolphin part was a let down.

It was so fu, especially Seeing the dolphins —up close…so many! But be prepared for way too LOUD music. We had one child with Asperger’s and it was too much for him. It was hard on everyone’s ears really. That part not enjoyable —detracted from an otherwise great trip.
