Illuminarium offers a family-friendly experience during the day and transforms in the evenings into Illuminarium After Dark, an adults-only nightlife venue. It’s the perfect destination for celebrations of all kinds including birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, social groups, field trips and more. There are currently 3 shows operating during the day: WILD, Georgia O'Keeffe and Space. The show for the date you are visiting will be displayed when you check the availability.

I would have rated this 5 out of 5 except that the person who checked us in didn't realize that we purchased the VIP option; therfore, didn't give us our souvenir book, or $10 vouchers for the cafe / gift shop. Once I realized I had nothing on my tickets which mentioned this, I had to go back to ask about the VIP inclusions which was inconvenient. The experience itself is pretty cool, it lasts about 40 minutes, we did the Africa Wild show. The screens change every 5 minds or so to show something new. There are vibrations in the room when there is the thunder storm and when animals are running or stomping. It smells like fresh clean floral garden air. This is extremely mobility challenged friendly, as there are comfy places to sit everywhere. Parking was super easy, it was dead when we got there at opening on a Sunday morning. We used our $10 vouchers in the Lumin Cafe and ordered the sliders with fries which were worth it when using the vouchers. Overall it was something we enjoyed and will go back again to try the space showing.

So, it takes a lot to impress my 19 year old son, who’s on the Autism Spectrum, yet this was an enjoyable immersive experience for him. We loved the colors, vibrations, and “breaking up” the asteroids. We went through two cycles of this. The staff was very friendly and let you stay as long as you wanted. You got a free space poster with each admission, and $10 off a gift shop or cafe item. I would have to say it was money well spent for us!

This was such a waste of time. Was so very boring. Literally just a room with projectors in it against blank wall. Stayed about 20 minutes and left. Terrible waste of time and money
