Very cool full immersion experience that allows you to “go to space” without the use of VR. The walls and floor have projections that make you “feel” like you’re in space. The experience takes about 45 minutes and the screens change scenes from various places (the moon, in a nebula, on Mars, etc.). The workers are among the friendliest I’ve encountered at any tourist attraction. They seem to be truly committed to their gig. Impressive. Both my kids (14, 11) really enjoyed it, and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it, too!

The “Space” attraction is $32 (including a $3 hidden fee). It is really overpriced for what it is. If you are not familiar with the latest wall projection technology, you will be impressed, but I have seen this elsewhere. And there are a lot of slow moments. I was expecting more, and in Vegas you should never be disappointed with an attraction.

Let me start by saying that I live in Las Vegas, so we did get local rates for tickets. I believe tickets are 25 or $30 for the most basic ticket for a tourist, and it is $19 for locals, before adding relevant taxes. The most expensive package that includes a voucher for $10 to be used at the local restaurant or the gift shop, along with a free souvenir poster and no time limit on when the show starts for you, is $45 for tourists and $35 for locals. There is also an in between package where a time for the show must be chosen but a free poster souvenir is also given. My suggestion: get the most basic package! I got the $19 per person locals discount package, and when I got there I asked the front desk if the mobile barcodes were good, which they said they were, and then they proceeded to simply give me these pamphlets that go with the show that I can follow, and I found out from people that have seen the show several times that those are the souvenir posters, so we basically got them for free and the lady saw that I had the most basic tickets. The gift shop is OK but naturally overpriced, and there is a restaurant there called Lumin, but we were not impressed by the menu so it was not on our radar. OK…. SPACE was amazing. The images were beautiful, initially, you get taken into a room with 24 comfortable chair/recliner's, where everyone else has to stand up, and it's a 5 to 7 minute show all around you as well as on the floor. From there you enter another room where you spend about 40 to 45 minutes and that is where images happen all over the room as well as on the floor to do with space travel, the history of space travel, the future space travel and where we're going, and it was just spectacular with incredible images. We absolutely loved it. The second room does have pods that will allow people to sit down to take a break and there's quite a few of them, but I can imagine on a very busy night, people may not be able to find seats. We went on a Friday at 4 PM and it was perfect because it was never full in either room so we have plenty of seating and we really enjoyed the show. The show is basically just a lot of movie and incredible artistic images as well as a real time images and if you don't like that, this is not for you, but if you want to see an incredibly interactive experience while getting educated and seeing the most amazing images and if you like space, this exhibition will blow your mind. We plan on going back to see a show that features safari animals that stopped about a few weeks ago when this exhibition started, and they are bringing it back in the end of September or so to the popular demand. Therefore, we loved it and highly recommended, but get the lowest price ticket.
