Illuminarium offers a family-friendly experience during the day and transforms in the evenings into Illuminarium After Dark, an adults-only nightlife venue. It’s the perfect destination for celebrations of all kinds including birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, social groups, field trips and more. There are currently 3 shows operating during the day: WILD, Georgia O'Keeffe and Space. The show for the date you are visiting will be displayed when you check the availability.

We visited the space exhibit, not bad, but I've been to the Quarries of Light in France and was expecting a lot more. The price was also a bit high

Very pretty but not what I thought. You sit in a room or can walk around a room the size of maybe a ballroom. And you witness a panoramic view of animals (we wanted the space tour but they said although it was available on their website we had to do the safari one). There is no interaction really, once in a while you may feel the pounding of feet on the ground, but thats it. It changes every few minutes to see different animals. We were VERY disappointed. Perhaps entertaining for a small child, but you lose interest quickly, for the price you pay its just not worth it. We and several other people left before the show was even over with. The staff inside were horrible, three ladies kept talking very loudly where we were all sitting gossiping about their work and working there and co-workers. Very distracting. Unless you want to pay for an expensive view of the animal planet tv show, we did not think it was worth the price.

An interesting and informative experience but a bit expensive. I'll come again to see the African Safari. Just wish we could pick the option at the time
