The staff was great. Captain Darrell and crew Micaela and Ivan did a great job under the conditions (rough seas) The boat was small and crowded. The food was terrible and dry. We got drenched because of the waves crashing into the boat. No warnings given that one may get drenched. Maybe this could have been avoided if the boat was as large as depicted online by the pictures. He bathroom toilet set was broken. ā€œWe need a bigger boatā€

Our trip was amazing! Captain Nono and crew; Justin and Howie were fabulous! The Mai Tai's were the best we have had. The crew was very friendly remembered our names and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed our trip so much we booked a second trip on the zodiac. The food was delicious and the adventure will be one we won't forget!

Hmmm, where to start. My husband and I took a Na Pali sunset cruise on Captain Andy's boat several years ago. It was a 60' boat with a full buffet dinner and very mild conditions. It was one of the best experiences we've had on the islands. We originally booked a Kauai Sea Tour dinner cruise (on the larger boat), but it was cancelled and we were offered a spot on the IMILOA Express Cruise. It was definitely "express" as my sunglasses were embedded into my aching face. What started out as gentle bumps and baby splashes spiraled into a roller coaster of tailbone bruising waves, puking adults and crying children, holding onto a speeding metal cage for dear life. We are boat people and love an "adventure" - don't mind getting our underwear soaked for a good time, but this had too many moments of semi-quiet misery to take it over 3 stars. After everyone was soaked, the staff came around with bulletproof raincoats that would have been greatly appreciated before 5 waves hit me in the face. I wasn't able to eat my turkey wrap as it too, was wet and almost impossible to get my free mai-tai into my gullet - I would have injected it into my veins at that point. The morning after I'd felt like I had been in a pretty juicy car accident - sore neck and back. Part of it may be the conditions on the ocean in November, but I felt a little disturbed that our boat was packed with children and the elderly. I fully support these businesses making money again, we love to support them, BUT.... The best part and my 3 stars are for the Napali Coast, which I've been desperate to get a closer look at and it didn't disappoint. I would just advise people to carefully consider this particular "adventure".

We appreciate your honesty. Yes, our larger catamaran has been out of the ocean due to current circumstances. Yes, the ocean and weather are very unpredictable in November. We’re all sorry to hear your experience wasn’t great. We hope you will try again at some point. Please stay safe- aloha:)
